Owner very helpful regarding the local attractions etc and directions, also he recommended the local award winning fish and chip shop which was superb.
The grand children enjoyed the rear garden area. A big bonus was the free use of the washing machine and tumble drier.

We had a great stay. The owners very nice and friendly and it is beautiful, peaceful and in relaxing surroundings. Details of plenty of restaurants in the book left in the cottage by the owners for your use. Just a 5 minute drive to Scalby Manor, a type of Beefeater where we had the tastiest carvery for £3.50 - we could not believe the prices as they were so cheap. Next year will be our 3rd year at Rose Cottage - I think that says it all!

Great location for Whitby, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington & Yorkshire Moors. Lovely coastal views from cottage, peaceful rural location yet only 3 miles from coast. Owner on site, very friendly and helpful.

The owner went out of his way to be helpful and we were delighted with our stay overall.The location is very good and a safe environment for children.It is convenient for Scarborough, Filey, Whitby and other coastal resorts and there are plenty eating out options.

This holiday can be a relaxing family place, to catch up on them family games or that book you have been putting off, or an exciting trip through the spectacular countryside, and for the kids there was always Scarborough :-)
